I dream to write. I wanted to be a writer ever since I can remember myself. How is that I have a natural inclination towards writing?
Everyone ask me one question. Why do you wanna write? They ask me how I found my interest. When I try to answer that question, my mind can arrive at only one answer – my great grandfather.
I have heard a lot about him from grandmom. But it has taken me sometime to understand the value of the poet. He was indeed a great writer. I bow to him.
I couldn’t have wanted to be a writer from when I was ten years old unless it was in my blood.
Having said this, it’s such a great honour to have written about my great grandfather and publish it with The Hindu. My first byline with the Metroplus is for an article about my own great grandfather and I can’t feel happier about it.
I have to thank all those people who stood by me and spent some time for me, so that I can finish this write up. I have to thank The Hindu, Coimbatore for encouraging me to publish.
